The ENERGISE project
East Africa Network in Education and Research for a Growing Impact on local development of Sustainable Energy engineering (ENERGISE)
The ENERGISE project aims at boosting the contribution of a HEIs' network in Ethiopia, Kenya and Tanzania working on Energy Engineering curricula to promote access to energy, efficiency and related socio-economic development.
The project purpose is to upgrade quality, capacity and multi-stakeholders partnerships and to involve local enterprises or NGOs as well as ministerial department or rural agencies working at different levels on energy access.
With ENERGISE project, the Consortium has set the specific objective in capacity building for delivering high quality, market-driven curricula in Energy Engineering focused on sustainability, innovative technologies and modern renewable energies relevant to the energy asset within the target region.
The Consurtium consists of Politechico Di Milano (Italy) as the lead partner, Technical University of Kenya, Technical University of Mombasa, Jimma University (Ethiopia) and Dar es Salaam Institute of Technology (Tanzania)
